The Brazilian football legend and the ambassador of the Qatar Legacy Program, Cafu, expressed his admiration for the atmosphere of the World Cup in Qatar, which will continue until December 18 next, in eight stadiums, expecting an increase in excitement in the upcoming matches of the first edition of the World Cup in the Arab world.
Cafu, in an interview with the official website of the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy, praised the efforts of the host country over the past years, which were reflected in the exceptional organization of the World Championship, in a festival during which fans from around the world celebrate their common passion for football, and he said: “I watch closely all the details of Tournament, I attended matches in the World Cup stadiums, and went to the FIFA Fan Festival in Al Bidda Park, which is an ideal destination for fans outside the tournament stadiums.
He added, “In previous editions of the World Cup, I had the opportunity to attend the FIFA Fan Festival, but in Qatar the festival witnessed a new and distinguished start. Qatar excelled in everything, and I am pleased to extend my congratulations to those who contributed to the success of this unique destination for fans. And the World Cup holder in the 1994 and 2002 versions continued: “I went to the festival site many times, and attended matches in the World Cup with fans from everywhere, and I advise football fans to enjoy what the festival offers in an exceptional atmosphere, and a distinctive view of the towers area in the Arabian Gulf.”
Cafu explained: “The atmosphere here in the World Cup is more than wonderful. I have followed the progress that Qatar has made over the years, since it won the right to host the World Cup. And I have no doubt that the coming days will witness more enthusiasm, excitement and surprises in the championship matches, which are witnessing a huge audience.”
